The land use zoning in the Corridor has been planned to align with the development interests of area owners, market pressures in west Ottawa and ‘highest and best use’ of the light industry area.  There are two classes of zoning in the area – Rural Commercial and Rural General Industrial.  The land use permissions and requirements under the zoning can be found on the City of Ottawa web site:
